<p><strong>About:</strong></p>
<p>Millwright Local 1425 was chartered on April 15th, 1970. Since then, the Local has demonstrated consistent growth and long-term stability. Northeastern Ontario is heavily rooted in mining, both open-pit and underground, and Local 1425 members play a vital role in supporting these operations and many other industries throughout the region. The Local specializes in industries such as mining, pulp and paper, hydroelectric power, manufacturing, construction, and agriculture. Our members possess strong skill sets in rigging and hoisting, hydraulics, alignments, fabrication, and mechanical work, among many others.</p>
<p>Local 1425 members take great pride in their craft and have built a strong reputation supported by satisfied clients and customers. Our members are known for their integrity, punctuality, and professionalism. Whether performing shutdown work, maintenance agreements, capital projects, or facility modifications, Local 1425 members consistently deliver superior workmanship while meeting and exceeding client needs.</p>
<p>Training and skill development remain top priorities for the Local, ensuring our members stay ahead of an ever-changing industry. Equally important is growing market share across Northeastern Ontario while retaining and supporting our existing membership.
