<p><strong>About:<br /><br /></strong>Millwright Local 1592 was founded on August 2, 1956, as a skilled trades local of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC Millwrights). For nearly seven decades, our members have built a reputation for precision, safety, and professionalism across Ontario’s industrial sector.<br /><br /><strong>Our Reach</strong><br /><br />Based in Sarnia, Ontario, Local 1592 proudly serves seven counties: Lambton, Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron, Perth, and Bruce. We are one of twelve Millwright Locals in Canada that together form the Millwright Regional Council, representing union millwrights across the country.<br /><br /><strong>Our Work</strong><br /><br />Local 1592 members specialize in the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy machinery and equipment. Local 1592 millwrights are trained to perform precision work down to a thousandth of an inch, ensuring accuracy and dependability on every job.
