<p>Local 2010 proudly received its charter from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America in 1997, marking the beginning of our commitment to building a stronger Alberta—one member at a time. Since then, we’ve been growing steadily, uniting skilled workers across the province and advocating for safer job sites, fair wages, and better working conditions. As proud Union members, we are dedicated to making work better not just for ourselves, but for future generations of workers.</p>
<p>Local 2010 is a general trade union local of the Carpenters’ Regional Council. We represent workers in a wide variety of industries across Alberta, with the exception of bargaining units that fall under the definition of “construction” in the Alberta Labour Relations Code.</p>

<p><strong>Organizing:</strong></p>
<p>Local 2010 is here to help workers build strength in their workplaces by coming together to form a union. Organizing means uniting with your co-workers to improve wages, benefits, safety, and fairness on the job. Whether you work in manufacturing, warehouses, retail, health care, transportation, or another industry, Local 2010 can represent you and help you secure a collective agreement.</p>
