<p><strong>About:<br /></strong></p>
<p>Local 785 has been proudly serving the Kitchener-Waterloo-Guelph area for nearly 50 years. Our Local represents 700 members, with over 500 active Carpenters, Drywall Mechanics, Divers, and Apprentices.</p>
<p>For more than 20 years, we have called our Fountain Street location home. Over that time, we’ve completed four renovations and additions to our building—each one focused on strengthening training opportunities to ensure our members are the best in their fields.</p>
<p>Each year, we work closely with more than 100 signatory contractors on projects that shape our communities, including hospitals, universities, schools, sports arenas, and many other commercial and industrial buildings.</p>
<p>Now, we are proud to take on our next challenge: a $2.5 million renovation dedicated to expanding and enhancing our ministry-regulated Carpentry Trade School. This investment will ensure our members continue to receive the highest level of training, preparing them to meet the evolving needs of the industry for decades to come.</p>
